Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented QA Analyst who loves ensuring software excellence? Join our team to play a key role in testing our systems, reducing development defects, and maintaining high standards. You’ll work on our latest product, StudentPayPlus.

StudentPayPlus, a Sentral product, launched in 2023, is an online platform for school uniform and supplies stores, and canteen meal ordering. It allows cashless transactions, benefiting parents, schools, and volunteers. We collaborate with partners in the USA and Canada, combining global expertise with local input.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work with developers to set up and maintain QA processes to reduce defects and improve product reliability.

• Identify and fix issues affecting reliability, function, and performance for users.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Team Leads to define clear acceptance criteria for tasks.

• Implement the strategies to improve the quality and reliability of software updates.

• Resolve issues with existing test frameworks and scripts.

• Ensure IT processes comply with documented standards and contribute to improvement programs.

• Provide accurate effort estimates and meet sprint commitments.

• Participate in problem-solving initiatives, promoting growth and innovation in testing.

About you

In addition to being passionate about high-quality standards and software reliability, you will bring:

• 3+ years of experience required in quality assurance.

• Experience in a fast-paced Agile team with continuous delivery.

• Skills in creating automated test cases using tools like Selenium.

• Experience with Continuous Integration tools.

• Strong troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication skills to influence key stakeholders.

• A quick learner motivated to understand new concepts.

Requirements:

• Full work rights in Australia.

• Ability to acquire a Working with Children Check.

• Ability to acquire an Australian Federal Police Check.
